A Native of Ontario, Canada, Jon relocated to Philadelphia to study with prestigious trumpeters such as David Bilger, Jeff Curnow, Matt Gallagher and George Rabbi.  A proud Philly resident since 2008, Jon maintains a regular performance schedule in the Tri-State Area and can be heard playing in a number of local theaters such as: The Kimmel Center, The Academy of the Arts, The Walnut Street Theatre, and the Forest Theatre. He has performed or recorded with: The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, The Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia, The Philly Pops, Jon Faddis, Benny Golson, Wayne Bergeron,  Randy Brecker, Bobby Shew, Jimmy Heath, Wynton Marsalis, Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, The Temptations and more.  Jon Maintains a regular teaching schedule privately, as well as at Temple University , Drexel University, Camden County College, and La Salle College High School.  He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of the Arts, and a Master’s Degree from Temple University.
